Heidi Stacy is a parent, grandparent, and former kindergarten teacher. Heidi was awarded the Betty Brinn Teacher of the Year award in 1997. Heidi has learned many lessons from the children in her life. The most important lesson is,
“When we feel good, we do good!”
With this lesson in mind, Heidi has published three books, Back Rub-A-Dubs,
Hoppy Feelings, and The Unlucky Lucky Duck. The books are part of Heidi's series,
"Little Stories with Big Meanings".
For Heidi, it's children!!
Children are her passion-
that feeling deep in her heart
that keeps calling to her...
"speak up for children and
the beauty of childhood."
Heidi dedicates her books
and this site to children
and their parents.
Heidi is currently writing Pajama Mama. This book will be added to her series, "Little Stories with Big Meanings." The stories are filled with comical characters in human situations finding usable solutions to common experiences.
Heidi dreams that children and parents come together to read, to talk, to touch, to share the joy of a story that touches on a bit of "human beingness". The tender bond between parent and child is strengthened, children learn about managing feelings, and parents get tips for happy parenting.
